Conservation

Conservation & agricultural recycling efforts.

We support industry product stewardship activities that help to get plastics into the recycling stream and diverted out of our state’s landfills.

It is also important to ensure that pesticide containers are recycled into appropriate plastic end-uses. In our conservation and recycling efforts, we’ve successfully teamed up with many entities who have been directly involved with the process.

California Grower Groups, Farm Bureaus, Farmers, Aerial Applicators, Pesticide Resellers, Landfills, and Waste Transfer Stations have all proven to be necessary and valued components in cleaning up our immediate agricultural lands

Our Container Recycling Events are held throughout the State of California. These collection events are paired with education that teaches sound stewardship practices and updates pesticide users on the latest requirements in recycling standards.

Pesticide drums are typically cut into thirds prior to collection. Jugs are accepted with caps removed and triple rinsed.
